International students should follow all procedures outlined in our Online Application Section, depending upon the grade for which you seek admission.
Applying to Grades 7-10
Students whose native language is not English, may choose not to take the SSAT and take the TOEFL, Jr., iTEP SLATE, or SLEP (Secondary Language English Proficiency) test. The SLEP test can be taken on campus by appointment or with any of our three Mid-Pacific Institute overseas representatives (see below). Mid-Pacific's SLEP test fee of $100 US includes the exam, an interview and a writing sample. Only one of these three tests is necessary to apply for admission. Other language assessments should be discussed with the Admissions Office for approval prior to taking the exams.
Applying to Grade 11-12
Students whose native language is not English, may choose not to take the SSAT and take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Second Language) or iTEP SLATE. Mid-Pacific's TOEFL code is 4521. Students applying for Grade 12 may also elect to take the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test). Mid-Pacific's SAT code is 120075. Only one of these tests is necessary to apply for admission. Students in Japan, Korea, or Taiwan may contact our Mid-Pacific Institute representatives for further information.
