Reframe Film Festival

Mid-Pacific School of the Arts presents the Reframe Film Festival Thursday, May 7, from 6-8pm in Bakken Auditorium. Please join us for a special screening of original films made by Mid-Pacific film, digital, and visual art students.

Outstanding Film Awards selected by guest judges and an Audience Choice Award will be awarded to our Mid-Pacific filmmakers after the screening. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.

This year, our judges include, Minette Ferrer, Assistant Programmer for Hawaii International Film Festival; Marcie Moura, Kapiolani Community College New Media Arts Lecturer with 14 years of experience working at Dreamworks Animation (How to Train Your Dragon 1 and 2, The Croods, Shark Tale), Walt Disney Animation Studios (Bolt) and Blue Sky Studios (Ice Age);  and Adam Moura, Kapiolani Community College New Media Instructor with 15 years experience working as a lead visual effects artist on feature films for Rhythm & Hues (X-Men:  First Class, Night at the Museum, Superman Returns, The Chronicles of Narnia), Disney Animation (Meet the Robinsons), and Sony Imageworks (Spider-Man 2, Big Fish).
