This year's Hoot! Hoot! Holiday! Lunch with Santa event on Saturday, December 10, 2016 was a HOOT! It was held at the Elementary School Campus (Wilcox Hall) on what turned out to be a very nice day. There were a total of 250 guests including alumni and Mid-Pacific Preschool & Elementary students, along with their families who enjoyed a day of fun playing in a custom-built holiday maze, having a delicious lunch with friends, playing in the snow, and visiting with Santa. Attendees also graciously brought unwrapped toys and small toiletries to be donated to a homeless shelter on behalf of Mid-Pacific this Holiday Season.
The traditional holiday maze, assembled by the hands of hard working alumni volunteers on Friday, December 9, took a total of seven hours to build. MPIAA board member, Hovey Lambert '69 designed the entire maze and lead the team of volunteers in the construction of this intricate maze that continues to fascinate guests at this event every year. Not only was it hard work, but it was definitely a lot of fun working together while chatting with friends and listening to cheerful Christmas music.
The Alumni Relations Office would like to send out a special thank you to all of those who were instrumental in making this event a success. We hope to see you at the next one!
